2)The Meg Reports: This is the mothership of rate data. Used in extensive marketing reporting and by actuaries when developing pricing these monthly reports provide hundreds of thousands of ‘cells’ of competitive rate information. Select your top dozen competitor’s products and a half dozen Compulife rankings (i.e. 1st/3rd/10th) and for every combination of Male/Female, smoker/nonsmoker, regular/regular plus/preferred/preferred plus and four different face amounts we’ll provide you with premiums from ages 20 to 65. That volume of data is hard to grasp – so imagine this; a spreadsheet with Male, nonsmoker regular, $100,000 face, 10 year term. And for that single case, see rates from your competitors for every age from 20 to 65. And again for Male nonsmoker, regular, $250,000 face. And then $500,000 face. and then each of those cases again for regular plus. Then each of those cases again for preferred, the preferred plus. Then again for female.
